ZonGuru costs $29 a month on the annual Researcher plan and $49 a month on the annual Seller plan for up to 20 active SKUs. For a private label seller still choosing a first product, that is one of the cheaper ways to get Amazon niche scoring, keyword data, and an Alibaba sourcing shortcut in one login. This ZonGuru review 2026 edition breaks down which plan fits which stage, what the new Helix listing service costs on top, and where Helium 10 is the better buy.
TL;DR (Too Long; Didn’t Read)
• What it is: ZonGuru is an Amazon research and listing suite built around the private label cycle: find a niche, validate demand, source a supplier, then track and optimize the live listing.
• Researcher vs. Seller: Researcher ($29/month annual, $49 monthly) is for pre-launch validation. Seller ($49/month annual for 1 to 20 active SKUs) adds the tools you only need once you are selling: Business Dashboard, Keyword Tracker, Product Pulse alerts, and email and review automation.
• Pricing scales with SKUs: Seller jumps to $99/month (annual) at 21 active SKUs and $159/month at 101. ZonGuru moves you up automatically, so a growing catalog raises your bill without a manual upgrade.
• The AI angle: ZonGuru’s COSMO Readiness Report is free for any US or UK listing. Helix, the service that rewrites a listing for Amazon’s COSMO and Rufus systems, is sold per ASIN ($49 each) and is not included in either plan.
• The main trade-off: ZonGuru has no PPC (Pay-Per-Click) management. If ads are your biggest lever, you will need a second tool.
What ZonGuru Does
ZonGuru is a browser-based toolset for Amazon private label sellers on FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon). It answers two questions. Before launch: is this product worth the $10,000 to $15,000 it usually takes to get a private label product live? After launch: why is this listing not ranking or converting the way it should?
The research side is Niche Finder, the Chrome Extension, Sales Spy, Keywords on Fire, Listing Optimizer, and Easy Source. Together they take you from a seed keyword to a shortlist, a demand estimate, a keyword map, and a filtered list of Alibaba.com suppliers. The operations side, which only comes with the Seller plan, connects to your Seller Central account and adds a Business Dashboard, My Products, My Orders, Keyword Tracker, Product Pulse (review and hijacker alerts), Email Automator, and Review Automator.
ZonGuru markets itself as a toolset “for sellers by sellers.” In practice, that shows up in what the product leaves out. There is no ads manager, no wholesale or arbitrage scanner, and no profit-and-loss accounting. The tools map to the steps a private label brand takes, in the order it takes them.
In 2026, ZonGuru added a second layer on top of the subscription. Its homepage now leads with “AI listing engineering”: a free COSMO Readiness Report that scores any listing, and Helix, a paid per-listing service that rewrites your copy for Amazon’s AI-driven search. We cover both in their own section below, because the way they are sold matters for which plan you pick.
On ease of use, ZonGuru is one of the more approachable suites in this category. The tool count is smaller than Helium 10’s, each tool has one job, and the Niche Score gives beginners a single number to sort ideas by. Experienced sellers may find the smaller toolset limiting, which is the trade-off for that simplicity.
ZonGuru Pricing 2026: Researcher, Seller, and Enterprise Plans
ZonGuru sells two self-serve plans, Researcher and Seller, plus custom Enterprise pricing. The Seller plan is priced by active SKUs, which ZonGuru defines as SKUs that made a sale in the past 90 days.
Active SKUs are SKUs that made a sale in the past 90 days. Prices from ZonGuru’s pricing page as of September 2026.
Add-ons and extras sold separately:
• Keywords on Fire (standalone): $19/month for 45 sessions
• Chrome Extension (standalone): $15/month, unlimited sessions
• Connected Regions: needed to connect more than one Seller Central marketplace (price not published)
• Helix listing transformation: $49 per ASIN, from $44 per ASIN in credit packs, from $30 per ASIN at 100+ credits
Two numbers put the cost in context. On the Researcher plan, $29 a month buys 200 Niche Finder searches, which works out to about 15 cents per niche you evaluate. On the Seller plan, the jump from 20 to 21 active SKUs moves you from $588 to $1,188 a year. ZonGuru says it will “automatically bump you up to the right subscription level” with no overage fees and no service pause, so the higher bill arrives on its own. If you are sitting at 18 or 19 active SKUs, budget for the next tier before you launch the next product.
What the Researcher Plan Gets You
Researcher includes Niche Finder, the Chrome Extension, Sales Spy, Easy Source, Keywords on Fire, and Listing Optimizer. The monthly limits are 200 Niche Finder searches, 150 Chrome Extension sessions, 150 Sales Spy searches, 20 Keywords on Fire sessions, and 15 Listing Optimizer uses. Support is normal priority.
Those limits fit a seller building a shortlist of three to five product ideas inside one or two categories. They get tight if you research daily across many categories: at 10 Niche Finder searches a day, you hit 200 in 20 working days. The 20 Keywords on Fire sessions are the first ceiling most people reach, because every serious product idea needs its own keyword pass.
Researcher is not built for anyone who needs order data, rank tracking, or review requests. It has no Seller Central connection at all.
What the ZonGuru Seller Plan Adds
Seller keeps every Researcher tool and adds Business Dashboard, My Products, My Orders, Keyword Tracker, Product Pulse, Email Automator, and Review Automator, with high-priority support. On the 1 to 20 SKU tier, usage rises to 450 Niche Finder searches, 60 Keywords on Fire sessions, and 40 Listing Optimizer uses per month, and Keyword Tracker covers 100 products and 5,000 keywords.
This is not an upgrade path from Researcher. It is a different use case. Researcher helps you decide what to sell. Seller helps you run what you already sell, and the higher SKU tiers mainly raise Keyword Tracker and Product Pulse capacity so they cover a bigger catalog.
Core Features: How Each ZonGuru Tool Works
Each tool below gets the same four checks: what it does, how it works, where it helps, and where it falls short. For side-by-side keyword tool comparisons, see our list of the Best Amazon Keyword Research Tools in 2026.
Niche Finder and Niche Score
Niche Finder takes a seed keyword and a marketplace and returns a list of related niches, each with a Niche Score. According to ZonGuru’s help center, the score blends four ratings: Buyer Demand (search volume and monthly sales), Competition Opportunity (how strong the current listings are), Investment Sweet Spot (how close the launch cost sits to a $10,000 to $15,000 band), and Revenue Potential (sales volume and profit potential).
Scores run from 0% to 100%. ZonGuru labels 60% to 80% as High and 80% and above as Very High. We recommend treating 60% as the floor for a shortlist, since a score near 50% often means one strong rating is carrying three weak ones.
The limitation: sales and revenue inputs are modeled from Best Seller Rank (BSR), not pulled from Amazon. Use the score to rank ideas against each other, not to forecast profit.
Keywords on Fire
Keywords on Fire is ZonGuru’s keyword research tool, and it works differently from a trend tracker. ZonGuru says its search volume comes from Amazon’s Brand Analytics API, and each keyword row shows the monthly revenue generated by the top 25 listings, the average PPC bid, where competitors rank, and a ZG Score for filtering. Keywords you select flow straight into Listing Optimizer.
The revenue-per-keyword view is the useful part. Two keywords with similar search volume can carry very different sales, and seeing that before you write a title saves a round of rewrites. The constraint is volume: 20 sessions a month on Researcher is enough for a handful of products, not for mapping a full catalog.
Easy Source (Alibaba Integration)
Easy Source comes from a partnership between ZonGuru and Alibaba.com. From the Chrome Extension, while you are looking at an Amazon listing, you can pull up a list of Alibaba suppliers that make a similar product without leaving the page.
ZonGuru’s Easy Source page lists three filters: supplier origin (country or region), verified status (hide unverified suppliers), and ready to ship (suppliers who can ship the product now). That is useful for cutting a 300-result Alibaba search down to a list worth messaging.
What Easy Source does not do is vet suppliers for you. MOQs (minimum order quantities), certifications, sample costs, and payment terms still need to be checked and negotiated one supplier at a time. It also takes a different approach from Jungle Scout’s Supplier Database, which is built on import records and shows who ships to which brands. See our Jungle Scout Review 2026 for how that works.
Sales Spy, Keyword Tracker, and Product Pulse
Sales Spy estimates monthly sales for any Amazon product, which helps you check whether a listing with strong reviews is actually moving units. Like every tool in this category, it models sales from BSR, so the figures are directional. Researcher gets 150 searches a month.
Keyword Tracker (Seller only) records where your listing ranks for each chosen keyword every day. The 1 to 20 SKU tier covers 100 products and 5,000 keywords, which averages 50 keywords per product. That is enough for most single-brand catalogs. A brand tracking 100+ keywords per hero product would hit the ceiling on a few ASINs. Product Pulse (Seller only) sends alerts when a new review lands or someone tries to hijack your listing.
Listing Optimizer
Listing Optimizer is where keyword research turns into copy. You pull keywords from Keywords on Fire, draft your title, bullets, and description, and check which keywords you have covered. It is included on both plans, with 15 uses a month on Researcher and 40 on Seller.
ZonGuru documents less about how Listing Optimizer scores a listing than it does for Niche Score. Treat it as a keyword coverage checker. It is not the same thing as Helix, which is covered next.
Helix and the COSMO Readiness Report: ZonGuru’s AI Listing Tools
Traditional Amazon SEO (Search Engine Optimization) matches the words in a search to the words in a listing. COSMO adds a layer of meaning. In Amazon Science’s write-up, a search for “shoes for pregnant women” is linked to the idea that pregnant women “might want slip-resistant shoes,” so a listing that clearly explains slip resistance can be relevant even without the word “pregnant” in it.
COSMO describes those links with named relationship types, such as what a product is used for, who it is used by, and where it is used. ZonGuru says it scores listings against 15 of these types taken from Table 2 of Amazon’s paper. One caution: Amazon has not published how much weight COSMO carries in live search ranking today. The direction is clear. The exact ranking impact is not.
The Free COSMO Readiness Report
The COSMO Readiness Report is free and does not need a subscription or a credit card. You enter any US or UK ASIN and get an overall readiness score out of 100 within about a minute. The score combines two checks: coverage of the 15 COSMO relationship types, and how well the listing answers common buyer questions for Alexa for Shopping.
ZonGuru groups scores into Strong (80 to 100), Adequate (50 to 79), and Needs Work (below 50), and says the average report scores 65. Because it costs nothing, this is the one ZonGuru feature every seller can use today, including sellers who never plan to subscribe.
Helix Listing Transformation
Helix is a done-for-you service, not a self-serve tool. ZonGuru’s Helix page describes the process like this: you submit an ASIN, your brand guidelines, and your key differentiators. Helix then runs niche and competitor research, review sentiment analysis, buyer intent mapping, the 15-type COSMO mapping, a Q&A coverage check, and an image carousel review.
What you get back is rewritten copy (title, bullets, and description), a before-and-after readiness score, image recommendations with a suggested sequence, and a CSV (comma-separated values) file you can upload to Seller Central. ZonGuru says most transformations finish within minutes and that Helix is available for US and UK listings only.
Here is how that looks in practice. The example below is illustrative, not a test result. A vitamin D3 supplement listing ranks for “vitamin D3 5000 IU” but gets few impressions on “immune support for winter.” The label and bullets list the dose and the capsule count, but never say who the product is for, when people take it, or what they take it with. A COSMO-style review would flag those as missing “used for,” “used by,” and “used with” relationships. The fix is adding accurate context, not stuffing the phrase “immune support” into every bullet.
That example also shows the main risk. In supplements, beauty, and other regulated categories, Helix can suggest benefit language, but you are still responsible for keeping every claim compliant. Read the rewritten copy line by line before you upload it.
On cost, Helix runs $49 per ASIN, or about $440 for 10 listings at the $44 pack rate. We recommend running the free report first, then paying for Helix only on listings that score below 50 and already have steady traffic.
ZonGuru vs Helium 10: Where Each Wins
ZonGuru and Helium 10 do not compete at the same price point anymore. Helium 10 dropped its Starter plan, so its cheapest paid plan, Platinum, now costs $99 a month on annual billing and $129 month to month, per its pricing page. ZonGuru’s full Seller plan for up to 20 SKUs costs half that. For a full breakdown of Helium 10’s plans, see our Helium 10 Review 2026.
Two points in that table change the usual advice. First, PPC is no longer a Platinum-versus-ZonGuru argument. Helium 10’s ads tools now sit on Diamond, so at the $99 tier neither suite manages your campaigns. If ads are your main problem, you are comparing ZonGuru plus a dedicated PPC tool against Helium 10 Diamond at $279 a month.
Second, multi-marketplace data is not a ZonGuru pricing advantage over Helium 10. Both include multiple Amazon regions in the plan price. ZonGuru charges extra for Connected Regions if you want to link more than one Seller Central account, while Helium 10 covers more channels, including Walmart and TikTok Shop.
Our read: ZonGuru is the better value for a private label seller with fewer than 21 active SKUs who wants research, tracking, and review automation in one place. Helium 10 earns its higher price when you need deep reverse-ASIN keyword research, sell on more than Amazon, or want ads management inside the same subscription
ZonGuru for Private Label Sellers: A Step-by-Step Workflow
The tools make the most sense in order. Here is the workflow we would follow for a first product, and where each plan starts and stops.
1. Build a shortlist (Researcher). Run Niche Finder on two or three seed keywords in categories you understand. Keep only niches scoring 60% or higher, and aim for three to five ideas.
2. Check real demand (Researcher). Open the top 10 listings for each idea with the Chrome Extension and Sales Spy. If most of the sales sit with one or two listings, the Competition Opportunity rating is probably overstating your chances.
3. Map keywords (Researcher). Use one Keywords on Fire session per idea. Look at revenue per keyword, not just search volume, and note the average PPC bid, since that is your launch ad cost.
4. Shortlist suppliers (Researcher). Filter Easy Source to verified suppliers in your target region, then request samples from three to five before you commit.
5. Switch to Seller after launch. Connect Seller Central, load your main keywords into Keyword Tracker, and turn on Product Pulse and Review Automator.
6. Check AI readiness (free). Run the COSMO Readiness Report on your listing. Pay for Helix only if the score is under 50 and the listing already gets traffic.
On return on investment, the math is simple. A year of Researcher costs $348. ZonGuru’s own Investment Sweet Spot puts a typical launch at $10,000 to $15,000. If the tool stops you from launching one weak product, it has paid for itself many times over. If you already know your product and category, most of that value disappears, and you are better off starting on Seller or with a narrower tool.
Is ZonGuru Worth It? Who It’s For (and Who It Is Not)
ZonGuru fits some seller stages much better than others. The table below matches each seller type to a plan, or to a better alternative.
For beginners who are still learning how FBA works, ZonGuru is usable but not the first step. The Niche Score assumes you understand launch costs and margins. Start with the free COSMO report or the 7-day trial, and subscribe once you are ready to evaluate real product ideas.
Enterprise pricing is not published. ZonGuru lists agency training, a sub-account view for each brand, an internal admin dashboard, and marketplace performance reporting for that tier. If you manage fewer than five brands, several separate Seller plans may cost less than an Enterprise contract, so ask for a quote before assuming you need it.
Customer Support and Subscription Terms
Seller plan users get high-priority support, and Researcher users get normal priority. You can reach support by live chat inside your account or at support@zonguru.com.
ZonGuru’s refund policy sets out the terms:
• Free trial: 7 days. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged.
• First payment: full refund if you ask within 7 days of the first charge; prorated refund between day 7 and day 30; no refund after 30 days.
• Renewals: no refunds on monthly or annual renewal charges. Cancel before the renewal date to stop the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• SKU tier upgrades: refund of the upgrade amount if requested within 7 days of the upgrade.
On Trustpilot, ZonGuru holds a 4.2 rating from 142 reviews. Positive reviews mostly mention ease of use and helpful support. The most common complaints are about renewal charges and refund requests outside the policy window, and one reviewer notes that support does not operate on weekends. The page shows no new reviews in the last 12 months, so treat the sentiment as dated.
The Honest Trade-Offs
ZonGuru’s limits are mostly structural. They come from what the product is built to do, not from bugs.
No PPC management. ZonGuru shows average PPC bids in Keywords on Fire, but it cannot build, bid, or optimize campaigns. Plan for a separate tool.
Helix is an extra cost, and US and UK only. The feature that most separates ZonGuru from other suites in 2026 is not in either plan. Sellers in the EU, Canada, Mexico, or Australia cannot use it at all yet.
Price cliffs at 21 and 101 SKUs. Because ZonGuru upgrades you automatically, a seller who launches a few products in one quarter can see the annual bill go from $588 to $1,188 without changing anything else.
Tight Researcher limits for heavy users. Twenty Keywords on Fire sessions and 15 Listing Optimizer uses are fine for pre-launch work and restrictive for anyone optimizing live listings every week.
Keyword depth. Sellers who build strategy around reverse-ASIN research across dozens of competitors will get more from Helium 10’s Cerebro or a dedicated keyword tool.
Amazon only, and no published Enterprise pricing. ZonGuru does not cover Walmart, Shopify, or TikTok Shop, and agencies have no public price to budget against.
If you are still in product research, start the 7-day Researcher trial and run Niche Finder on the three ideas already on your shortlist. Drop anything under 60% and see whether your top pick survives. If you are already selling, run the free COSMO Readiness Report on your lowest-converting listing before you pay for anything.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is ZonGuru worth it in 2026?
For a private label seller with fewer than 21 active SKUs, ZonGuru is one of the better-value suites, at $29 to $49 a month on annual billing. It is a weaker fit if you need PPC management, sell beyond Amazon, or rely on deep reverse-ASIN keyword research.
What is the difference between ZonGuru’s Researcher and Seller plans?
Researcher ($29/month annual) covers product research, keyword research, sourcing, and listing drafts, with no Seller Central connection. Seller ($49/month annual for 1 to 20 SKUs) adds Business Dashboard, Keyword Tracker, Product Pulse, email and review automation, higher usage limits, and priority support.
How does ZonGuru’s Helix tool improve Amazon listings?
Helix rewrites your title, bullets, and description to cover the product uses, audiences, and contexts Amazon’s COSMO system maps, and to answer common buyer questions. It is a paid service at $49 per ASIN, available for US and UK listings, and it is not included in either subscription plan.
Is ZonGuru good for beginners on Amazon FBA?
It suits beginners who are ready to evaluate real product ideas, because the Niche Score turns several data points into one number. Sellers still learning how FBA fees and launch budgets work should start with the free trial before paying.
How does Easy Source work with Alibaba?
Easy Source uses ZonGuru’s partnership with Alibaba.com to show suppliers for a product from inside the Chrome Extension. You can filter by origin, verified status, and ready-to-ship, but you still need to check MOQs, certifications, and samples yourself.
Can I cancel ZonGuru and get a refund after the free trial?
Yes, you can cancel at any time from your account or through support. New subscribers get a full refund within 7 days of the first payment and a prorated refund up to day 30, but renewal charges are not refunded.
How does ZonGuru compare to Helium 10 on price?
ZonGuru’s Seller plan costs $49 a month on annual billing for up to 20 SKUs, compared with $99 a month for Helium 10 Platinum, a $600 yearly gap. Helium 10 includes deeper keyword tools and more marketplaces, while ZonGuru adds Easy Source and COSMO-focused listing tools.
Does ZonGuru support Amazon marketplaces outside the US?
Yes. All plans include research data for North America, Europe, and Australia, but linking more than one Seller Central marketplace requires the Connected Regions add-on. Helix and the COSMO Readiness Report currently work only for US and UK listings.
