Built for modern sellers

Overview

One independent media brand. Every marketplace that matters.

The Selller is an independent media company for people who sell online. We cover Amazon, TikTok Shop, Walmart Marketplace, and Shopify in one place, because most sellers today aren't running a single-platform business anymore. We publish news, tactical guides, tool reviews, and original data built for sellers at every stage, from someone launching their first product to a brand doing seven figures across marketplaces.

We are not an agency. We don't sell courses or software. Our job is to help sellers make better decisions, faster, and our content answers to readers first.

The gap we saw

Who We Are

Most ecommerce media picks a lane and stays there. One site covers Amazon. Another covers Shopify. A third focuses on TikTok Shop and treats everything else as an afterthought. Sellers don't operate that way anymore. A single brand today might be running FBA on Amazon, testing TikTok Shop for a younger audience, and using Shopify as its owned storefront, all at the same time.

The Selller exists because that seller needed one place to go. We track platform policy changes, fee updates, and algorithm shifts across all four marketplaces. We publish step-by-step guides that assume you might be selling on more than one platform, and we call out where the steps actually differ. We review the tools sellers pay for every month, honestly, including where those tools fall short.

Alongside the site, we run The Selller Podcast, a growing events directory for ecommerce conferences and summits, and a newsletter that goes out twice a week. All of it points back to the same goal: give sellers something they can act on, not just something to read.

01 / MISSION

Our Mission

Help online sellers at every stage make better decisions, faster. Whether someone is launching their first product on Amazon or managing a multi-marketplace brand doing millions in revenue, they should be able to read something on The Selller and use it that same day.

02 / VISION

Our Vision

To become the resource multi-marketplace sellers check first, before any single-platform blog, before a paid course, before a forum thread. A world where sellers spend less time guessing and more time building, because the information they need is already sitting in one place, written for them and not for whoever's selling them something.

How we work

Our Values

Four principles shape what we publish, what we recommend, and how we earn reader trust.

01

Accuracy

If we cite a number, it has a source. If we are not sure, we say so instead of guessing.

02

Independence

We are not an agency and we do not sell software. Reviews and rankings are based on merit, not relationships.

03

Usefulness over noise

We would rather publish a shorter article that says something real than a longer one padded to hit a word count.

04

Respect for the seller’s time

Multi-marketplace selling is already complicated. Our job is to make it clearer, not add more jargon.

Less time guessing. More time building across every marketplace that matters.
